Our bylaws state a homeowner is only allowed to have one sign in their yard. For sale or political; yet we have yard of the month signs? How does that qualify as an exception.
Are they not going to allow schools to recognize children for student of the month?
Who determines the exceptions, when our bylaws clearly state what signs can be placed there.
Please explain....

if you use your common sense it shouldnt be an issue at all. I doubt seriously the HOA cares if you put a small sign that says "SMITH #49 GO CENTRAL HIGH" ,but having a "ROBETSONS FOUNDATION REPAIR, CALL 888-888-8888" or "15 VOTE BUSH" signs wouldnt be as acceptable. Besides, what does showing a small amount of school spirit, or yard of the month have to do with sales or politics?
